Shell has upgraded from a locally hosted version of RiskPoynt, to the most recent cloud-deployed version 5.4. The upgrade was delivered on time and budget across 26 assets globally. This move allows Shell to take advantage of the technology that provides easy access to RiskPoynt from any of its regions. RiskPoynt is now available to Shell’s operations for no added technology cost and minimal implementation effort.
By using RiskPoynt’s visual display dashboard, Shell’s asset operators and executives not only know the current barrier status related to process safety and asset integrity, but are also equipped to demonstrate in real-time that risks are being properly managed across the organization.
“We look forward to working with Shell to continue improving the industry’s health, safety and environmental performance,” says Tim Perman, CEO of RiskPoynt. “RiskPoynt provides our customers the real-time information they need to collaborate with others, make sound decisions quickly, operate safely and avoid major hazard events.”
